Student Visa
Requirements for US Citizens
- US valid/signed passport in good condition with at least two blank visa pages (Note: pages 22, 23, 24 are NOT visa pages)
- Two original visa application forms signed, completely filled out informing purpose of the trip
- Two recent 2in X 2in passport type photos
- Proof of financial ability to pay for one's stay in Brazil
- Good conduct record from local police department (for over 90 days of stay)
- A copy of the school registration or confirmation of acceptance from the Brazilian educational institution
- A copy of a driver's license
- Minors (under 18 yeas of age) Notarized parent's authorization letter for their child to travel to and from Brazil, addresses/names of responsible parties in Brazil
- Consulate fee $180.00 US Postal money order only (You can obtain at the Post Office) payable to the Consulate of Brazil
- Master Visa Service fee $55.00 payable by Money order to Master Visa Service
- Either a self addressed stamped envelope to return the visa to you or $20 for FedEx Overnight return of visa.
